[continued]
moving on. i think it's the quotable-quotes-galore season. or maybe it's just me. either way, it seems like every other line i see in Endless Dark's story, Discontent seems to bethe perfect quote. not that there's one but that would be a story for another day. if found this one extremely laughable. literally. it describes how the female protagonist, whose life is a crapy shit of shit [at the moment] is being hugged by her [grotesquely insipid and inconsiderate] mother. -she squeezed me like a bottle of ketchup- followed by -oh what a
lovely metaphor.--
funny isn't it. and here's one i found a few weeks back: the person who said 'nothing is impossible' never tried slamming a revolving door.
i love that one.
and there're these really witty display names like [this one's from ahteo3000]: light travels faster than sound, which is why people look smart, until they speak.
i love her, she never seems to run out of display-names-that-make-you-laugh-raucously. seriously.
and here's another one [danielngrs]: everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.
funny eh. some people just get all the humour.
moving on. yet again.
today i went swimming, and when i came home, i fond my mother all dressed up [which really just means she bothered to choose her clothes] in a RED cheongsam [albeit a really fugly one] and wearing lipstick [which she never does, unless it's a gala. like the one she's disappeared to: she still isn't back]. honestly, she should go shopping for dresses or at least wedding-wearable clothes. my mom's a workaholic, which is so much more than i can say for my father. she's a great mother and i love her a lot. so the first thing i do when i get my pay check is to splurge with her; on her. i'm such a lovely daughter. i dont' think i want to blog about my father, he isn't horrible, but compared to my mother he's just... very... bad. i have no other adjective to describe him.
i shall depart this wearisome topic.
don't think i have anymore to say/blog.
